National Candy Corn Day is October 10th!

Quote of the Day:

Candy corn is a candy most often found in the United States and Canada, popular primarily arocandy_cornund Halloween. The three colors of the candy – a broad yellow end, a tapered orange center, and a pointed white tip – mimic the appearance of kernels of corn. Each piece is approximately three times the size of a real kernel from a ripe or dried ear.

Candy corn is made primarily from sugar, corn syrup, confectioners wax, artificial coloring and binders.

I’ll admit it, I love candy corn. It has always been one of my favorites. Those little corn shaped nuggets of sugar, with their three colors. And of course you have to eat the corn in a certain order: white then orange then yellow.

I was looking for a song about candy corn and I couldn’t find one. I did find this makeup tutorial on how to apply eye shadow using the candy corn colors. Pretty cool!
