When planning the music for your wedding you should break down the ceremony into five different sections:
Prelude - The arrival and seating of your guests.
Processional - Your wedding party arrives.
Interludes - This is the part of your ceremony where there is no talking, but there are prayers or a candle lighting ceremony.
Recessionals - The bride and groom and your wedding party leave the ceremony.
Postlude - Your guests are leaving the ceremony.
Let's move on and start choosing the music for your ceremony. Remember that the pieces presented here are suggestions, and that your choice is not limited to only these. To a certain extent many of these pieces are interchangeable. As you make your decisions, remind your self as often as you need to that you are the boss, and that this is your wedding! Your opinion about the music will result in a unique ceremony.
